3 Year Price Guarantee

If you are paying for your policy by monthly Direct Debit payments, we will invite your renewal on our three year price guarantee.

This means that, if your circumstances stay the same, we will guarantee the price of your policy based on this year’s renewal price for a further two years.

Your policy will continue at the new rate for a further two years, covering you against insurance rate increases, tax increases and general inflation.

The price guarantee only applies to the price presented on your renewal letter.

Example

Year 1 - You receive your car insurance renewal from us priced at £349

Year 2 - As long as your details stay the same, you will continue to pay £349

Year 3 – Again, as long as nothing changes you’ll pay just £349

If you make any changes to your policy, or misrepresentation of claims/convictions are identified, this will result in your annual premium being recalculated to take the new details into account, as long as the new details are acceptable to the insurer we have placed your cover with.

It is important that you check the information on your documents at each renewal stage to ensure that the information we hold for you is correct.

You are reminded that you have a duty to take reasonable care not to make any misrepresentation.

Any Direct Debit payments will then be amended accordingly at the time of renewal at the beginning of year two to accommodate the change in risk details.

The same principle applies between years two and three.

At the end of the first and second years of the price guarantee being in force, we may also change the underwriter of the insurance that we provide for you in order to continue to meet your demands and needs.

We are able to do this because we are an insurance broker representing a panel of different insurance.

If you do not want to renew your policy, please contact our renewals team at least seven days before the renewal date on 01302 554 013. Failure to do so may result in an administration fee of £35.00 being incurred.







No Claims Bonus

Below are the full details of the One Call Insurance No Claims Discount Guarantee. If you have any queries regarding this, please contact our Customer Service team on 01302 554 015.

Typically, a protected No Claims Bonus will only protect the discount percentage at the time of renewal, not the premium. Therefore, in the event of a claim, an insurer could increase your renewal premium, meaning that you would still pay more even if you had paid to protect your No Claims Bonus.

At One Call Insurance we believe this to be unfair, so we offer you the One Call Insurance No Claims Discount Guarantee.

To help protect your renewal premium in the event of a fault claim occurring, this guarantee will ensure that your renewal premium will be quoted at 10% below the best protected rate on the market.

If you find a cheaper quote for the cover you require from a different insurer, we will price-match it and offer you a further 10% discount (a copy of the alternative quotation will be required based on a like for like quotation).

To qualify

You need a minimum of one year’s No Claims Bonus from any insurer at the start of the policy period.


The terms

The One Call Insurance No Claims Discount Guarantee will continue to discount your renewal premium unless there are two fault claims in any three year period. In this situation the One Call Insurance No Claims Discount Guarantee will be lost.


Some definitions

  • We consider a fault claim to be where the cost of the claim was met by your insurer but could not be recovered.
  • Where the accident was not your fault or the other driver was uninsured, you will not lose your One Call Insurance No Claims Discount Guarantee.
  • Your One Call Insurance No Claims Discount Guarantee will not be affected if you claim for a broken windscreen or window glass.


If you leave us

  • One Call Insurance will issue you with confirmation of the number of years No Claims Bonus we matched at the issue of your renewal premium.
  • The No Claims Discount Guarantee is a One Call Insurance benefit and does not form part of your contract with your insurer. Some insurers may only accept confirmation of No Claims Bonus from the underwriter.
  • Your new insurance company will apply a No Claims Bonus in accordance with their own terms.
